Eden... in the beginning.

The seeds of Eden were sown in 1999 when UFS Pharmacies opened "The Beauty Room" as a new service to customers at their King Street Pharmacy. It initially operated on a small scale with a part time beauty therapist, however as UFS Pharmacies underwent an unprecedented period of growth and purchased the property on the corner of View and Barnard Streets, a new opportunity opened up for The Beauty Room.

This was realised when it moved to View Street and re-opened as Eden Body & Soul Essentials in 2005. The larger space offered more potential for growth for Eden Body & Soul Essentials.

When the opportunity to expand the King Street business and move it to the larger inner city location in Hargreaves Street Eden Body & Soul Essentials once again was on the move. It is now established as an autonomous business in a custom built facility within the Hargreaves Street Pharmacy with 8 staff members including 5 beauty therapists. The range of services available not only reflect the professionalism of the business but also its successful transformation from a part time operation into a thriving venture, serving the members of UFS Pharmacies and the people of Bendigo.

Staff Profiles

	Jess Beauty Therapist Jess, easily recognised by the cute moustache tattooed on her finger, has worked in the beauty therapy industry for eleven years.  After a life time living in Melbourne, she moved to Bendigo in 2011.  Jess loves travelling and her favourite destination so far has been Peru.  One day she'd love to own a minature pig and call it Pork Chop.  As one of her favourite interests is eating, we'll need to hope for the best for that pig.			Jacinda Beauty Therapist Jacinda is an experienced therapist having worked in the industry since 1998, commencing at Eden in 2004. She grew up in Heathcote before moving to Melbourne to complete her Beauty Therapy Diploma, then it was on to Bendigo via Echuca. Jacinda enjoys time with her family and friends, shopping, eating out and perhaps because of that last interest, working out in the gym.
	Kim Beauty Therapist   Kim has worked in the beauty therapy industry for ten years and joined the team at eden in 2011.  She's a local Bendigo girl and loves being a mother, running and eating great food.			Lauren Beauty Therapist Lauren joined the Eden team in March 2010. Born in Bendigo, Lauren has her Diploma in Beauty Therapy and is currently completing Certificate III in Business. She loves spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and says one of her favourite things is making people laugh.
